Nurul Eisha Binti Abdullah is a final-year Bachelor of Science with Honours (Microbiology) student. Her final-year project focuses on microbial resistance to penicillin in mangrove sediments.
She is highly interested in this topic, as antimicrobial resistance is a global issue that has yet to be comprehensively resolved and poses significant risks to humans, animals, plants, and the environment. Additionally, she is drawn to this study because it focuses on environmental microbiology, a field known for its unique and fascinating aspects within microbiology. This final-year project has greatly aided her in developing laboratory skills, as well as teaching her to be more organised and capable of designing better experimental plans.
Her hobbies include watching dramas and movies, eating, and travelling. These leisure activities contribute greatly to her happiness and help relieve stress.
